To create a better planet and future for all, we commit to giving back 1% of every sale to our environmental nonprofit partners. Not just on Earth Day. Every day. We are currently undertaking the process to become a B-Corp. Certified B Corporations are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. We’re only interested in doing good business.

What we’re working to solve
A look inside the
sustainability gap
There is a disparity that exists between the principles of sustainability and the practices of interior designers. With little to no industry regulations we’re doing our part to lead the industry in actioning ethical practices and designing to reduce our environmental impact. We want to flip the fast-consumerism model on it’s head & think differently when it comes to crafting homes. We are about designing and restoring considered, purposeful homes that will enrich the lives of those who experience them, for generations to come.
How we’re solving it

change to our industry
Here’s what we’re doing about it from our corner of the globe:
Members of 1% for The Planet which enables us to donate 1% of our profits to an environmental cause. We currently support Fitted for Work, WIRES and Carbon Positive Australia.
Partnering with additional environmental groups such as Greenfleet who plant trees to offset our carbon footprint.
Aligning with other consciously minded businesses who support fair trade and good working conditions, via our partnership with The Conscious Space.
Specifying products from locally sourced and made suppliers to support our Australian economy and workforce.
Purchasing internationally from suppliers who align with our values around handmade, small batch and fair trade wages and working conditions.
Designing spaces which consider natural light, air flow and cross ventilation, natural heating & cooling.
Recycling scrap metal & old appliances so they can be reused.
Use of low VOC paints.
Disposing of rubbish responsibly.
Carefully removing old cabinetry & donating to charities or men’s sheds so it can be restored and reused.
Our studio is paperless and our entire business is cloud based which enables office and site staff to communicate seamlessly without unnecessary paperwork or travel.
